2017 Senior Day, DC8 Memorial Dedication

Garret Reiter
Garrett is a high honors student and throughout high school has taken numerous AP and honors courses. After graduation, Garrett will be attending Penn State University’s main campus but is still trying to figure out what he wants to do for the rest of his life. After playing baseball for 14 years, he has made many memories that will stick with him forever but none like the ones he has made as a Red Raider. Some of his favorite memories include the long and grueling bus rides to the playoff games last year and being the second baseman on the 2016 District VI and State Championship baseball team or better known as the infamous, One Team.
Cayden Lucas
Cayden has been accepted into the College of Civil Engineering at Penn State University’s main campus.
Tyler Kreger
Tyler is a distinguished honor student playing three varsity sports. He has lettered in baseball and basketball for four years and football for three years. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Institute. Tyler has been accepted to Penn State University’s main campus to major in pre-med. Tyler’s favorite high school memory is winning the State Championship last year in baseball.
Ethan Corman
Following graduation, Ethan will continue his studies in Diesel Technology at UNOH in Lima, OH. In addition to baseball, Ethan is an active volunteer with the Pleasant Gap Fire Company and assists with the daily operation of the family business. His favorite baseball memory is playing catch in the backyard with his Dad.
Greg Watson
Greg plans on furthering his education by attending CPI for the Adult Ed Collision Repair Technician Course. Greg plans on fixing and restoring his own truck. He has really enjoyed his time at CPI and has learned a lot from his teacher, Mr. Hummel. Greg has always had a real love for playing baseball. Winning States was a very proud moment for him and to be part of One Team.
Logan Mathieu
Logan received a scholarship and will be continuing his baseball career at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where he plans to major in clinical psychology. Logan will get an early jump on his academics by participating in Liberty’s summer bridge program for three weeks in July before starting full-time in the fall. Logan’s favorite baseball memory is winning last year’s state championship with his teammates. He would like to thank his teammates, coaches and family for their support during his time at Bellefonte.
Tanner Helms
Tanner started swinging the bat in his pap pap’s basement when he was two. Over the years, he has competed in football, basketball, soccer, swimming and kayaking but has always enjoyed baseball the most. While sports have always been dominant in his life, he did play the French Horn through his sophomore year in high school. Academically, Tanner has pursued a traditional college prep course of study and will attending Shippensburg University in the Fall entering as an exploratory student. He is very excited to be an incoming member of the Shippensburg Raider baseball team. Tanner’s recent athletic honors include: 2016 Mountain League Football, First Team, Tight End, 2016 PFN All-State Team-Class 4A, Honorable Mention, Tight End, and 2017 Perfect Game Atlantic Region Honorable Mention. Most of all, Tanner is proud to have been the starting centerfielder for the 2015 District VI Championship and the 2016 State Championship teams at Bellefonte Area High School.
